Jeroen de Rijk is a freelance multi-style percussionist, producer and music entrepreneur.
Since 1981 he does studio sessions, by now for hundreds of albums, countless jingles, TV commercials etc..
For all those years Jeroen plays live on both the local and the international music scene.
The studio sessions started in the 1980s with, among others, Piet Veerman’s hit ‘Sailing Home’, ‘Dance Around The World’ by Richenel, ‘Liefdesliedjes’ by De Jazzpolitie and ‘Wonderful Life’ by Mathilde Santing.
There were performances and/or studio sessions with, for example, Mezzoforte, Toots Thielemans, Candy Dulfer, A Bowie Celebration, Yellowjackets & The Metropole Orchestra, but also Toppers, Holland Zingt Hazes, The Passion, Malando Orchestra, George Duke & Jazz Orchestra Of The Concertgebouw, Bruno Mars, Michael Jackson, Joe Sumner and Golden Earring. .
Already 25 years ago Jeroen founded Baileo Music Productions, a company that books live music, produces commissioned music and albums.
This concerns performances or CD/DVD productions with Louis Van Dijk, Dado Moroni, Madeline Bell, Gino Vannelli, Rita Coolidge, Jimmy Haslip and many others.
